A Marine Corps veteran that was born and raised in Northern California built a successful pool service business in Las Vegas for 25 years. In 2023, he and his wife Ryko of 30 years and proud parents of two remarkable sons—relocated to Holiday Island where they quickly fell in love with Northwest Arkansas and its welcoming community. Today, he enjoys a quieter life surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ozarks while staying deeply connected to the area he now calls home.

After more than 20 years in commercial construction, Barb and Dave retired to Holiday Island in 2023. Building has always been part of who she is, whether it’s managing a large project or creating something small at home. These days, she enjoys reading and exploring crafts that let her unwind, get creative, and make something uniquely her own.

In addition to Treasurer, Kathy also tracks new home ownership and delivers welcome bags to new members.
